Mission Statement

The mission of the Pennsylvania Bible Society is to distribute Holy Scripture without note or comment to all who want to hear it, at an affordable price, or free of charge to those unable to pay.

Our Organization

The Pennsylvania Bible Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors of twenty-four Christian men and women who serve without compensation.  The business affairs of the Society are handled by an Executive Director, a Program Administrator and a Resource Center Manager.

Our Programs

The Pennsylvania Bible Society sells all Scripture at or below cost (at the Scripture Resource Center), and through its Grant Program, donates thousands of Bibles each year to emerging ministries, children's camp and after-school programs, shelters, prisons, and inner-city missions.  The operating loss from the programs is paid for by the contributions of individuals, churches and foundations.
