Mission Statement The mission
of the Pennsylvania Bible Society is to distribute Holy Scripture without note or comment to all who want to hear it, at an
affordable price, or free of charge to those unable to pay. Our Organization
The Pennsylvania Bible Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors of
twenty-four Christian men and women who serve without compensation. The business affairs of the Society are handled
by an Executive Director, a Program Administrator and a Resource Center Manager. Our Programs The Pennsylvania Bible Society has a wide variety of Scripture Programs.
At the Scripture Resource Center, Bibles of all types and languages are sold at or below cost and through the Bible Society Grant Program, thousands of Bibles
are provided each year for emerging ministries, children's camp and after-school programs, shelters, prisons, and inner-city
missions. The contributions of individuals, churches and foundations helps to ensure the cost of these programs is met.
On December 12, 2008 the Pennsylvania Bible Society turned 200 years old with a historic bicentennial celebration!
